Catherine has worked in educational settings and in private practice for over 10 years. Catherine has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families.
Catherine has worked with refugee and asylum seeker populations in immigration detention centres which enabled her to work closely with children, adolescents and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Catherine’s diverse experience includes providing intervention for trauma, depression, anxiety and major mental health disorders as well as providing risk assessments. Catherine has also been involved in providing urgent psychological services, clinical counselling, critical incident defusing, manager support and high level client-focused liaisons.
Catherine has a special interest working with adolescents and adults over a wide range of issues such as:
